Once you have your product key, see Activate Office for Mac 2011. When you install or reinstall Microsoft Office, you are prompted to enter the product key. The product key is used during installation to 'unlock' the software. I am trying to locate my key (I believe I downloaded this version originally and it should be in my email but I can't find it) I tried a program that is supposed to 'find the keys for products installed on your computer' (Mac Product Key Finder) and it found my very old Office 2008 key, but not 2011. Office 2011 for mac find product key. Depending on where you bought Office 2011, you can retrieve the product key from Microsoft using the instructions on their website. If this doesn't work for you (ie. You probably don't own a legitimate copy of the program) I'm afraid you're out of luck, I believe the licensing information may be stored in the com.microsoft.office.licensing.plist file which is located in ~/library/preferences. Can't find my Office for Mac 2011 Product Key I received a copy of Office for Mac 2011 with a MacBook Pro I purchased through my university in 2013. All of a sudden, after allowing it to finally update, it's saying I don't have a license and need to purchase a product key. Crucial Memory and SSD upgrades - 100% Compatibility Guaranteed for Apple Mac Pro (Late 2013) - FREE US Delivery. Release Candidate (RC) firmware set There are two kinds of firmware for SSDs Mass Production (MP) and Release Candidate (RC). Prior to an MP firmware release, there are beta firmware releases and an RC firmware release. Often, the RC is the same as the MP release, however there can be small changes and bug fixes made between the two. OWC has evaluated the RC for the 6Gb/s SandForce 2281 Processor and found it to be stable with no issues reported during our testing. However, as with any evolutionary product, issues may surface as different usages and configurations are employed and it is important to understand that there will be further updates and revisions. Since no firmware update is currently offered for the OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD, no update page exists. To see the typical steps involved with a self performed field firmware update, please visit our 3Gb/s product update page at: It is important to note that the current firmware update tool requires the use of Windows XP/Vista/7. Total accessible capacity varies depending upon operating environment (typically 5-10% less). The actual total capacity will depend on your own defined file settings/preferences. • Temperature reporting is currently an unsupported feature because due to the operating characteristics of SSDs, it is highly unlikely one would ever exceed an OWC Mercury SSD's stated operating temperature ceiling of 158F/70C. However, we are looking into supporting this feature in the future via a firmware update. Firmware updates can be found here:. • macOS 10.13 and later versions include an EFI (firmware) update that adds support for the Aura Pro X to the host computer. If you do not first update the host firmware by installing macOS 10.13 or later onto the existing SSD, the Aura Pro X will not function properly once installed. It was very easy to install. I chose to do a fresh install of OSX High Sierra and have had not problems with the drive. Only issue I had was instead of the full on 'torx' drivers I received an 'L'-shaped allen wrench, which worked fine for the torx screws in my MacPro, but it did not work at all on the Envoy Pro Enclosure that I put my old 265GB SSD (I need to get that torx driver to secure the enclosure), but the old SSD is up and usable in the Enclosure. The 1TB drive is very quick. Thanks OWC for a great upgrade product. I would recommend this item to a friend! Customer Videos. Insert html signatures on mac for outlook. July 30, 2018 The Aura Pro X SSD is working great. No issues with its performance or the enclosure for the extracted SSD. If you're like me and read all of the instructions and watch installation videos before plowing forward, you may notice a discrepancy in the instructions for the installation of a heat 'shield' and heat 'sink'. The clamshell case that contained the OWC Aura Pro X had a sticker that said '2013 Mac Pro requires heatshield. OWC p/n: OWCCAURAPROXHS'. However a small printed sheet of paper that came with the order said '2013 Mac Pro Heat Sink Installation Please install the included heat sink to ensure the drive runs at the proper temperature.'
